Privacy policy

Last updated October 30, 2026 · Placeholder text: replace it with your own policy before you publish.

Pace is built so that we know as little as possible about you. This page explains what we store, why, and how to get rid of it.

What we collect

When you create an account we store your email address (or the identifier Apple or Google gives us), the date you joined and your plan. Habits, check-ins and focus sessions are encrypted on your device with a key we never see; our servers store ciphertext only.

What we do not collect

  • No advertising identifiers and no third-party trackers.

  • No contacts, location or health data.

  • No content of your habits or notes in readable form.

Analytics

The app sends anonymous events (for example “session started”) so we can see which features are used. You can turn this off in Settings → Privacy. Events never include habit names.

Payments

Subscriptions are processed by the App Store and Google Play. We receive a receipt, never your card details.

Your rights

Export every piece of data in CSV or JSON from Settings → Export. Delete your account and all data from the same screen; deletion is immediate on our servers and backups expire within 30 days. For anything else, write to hello@pace.app.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we tell you in the app before it takes effect.
